Toddler Curriculum & Activities
Our curriculum is theme-based and developmentally appropriate focusing on biblical concepts and values as well as following Washington State Kindergarten readiness learning targets. NCCDC uses several curriculums to create our well-rounded program including Creating God’s World, Second Step, and Woven Word as well as never overlooking the importance of child-led play.
We begin teaching toddlers by exposing them to books, singing songs, playing games, and helping them reach early milestones. We prepare our toddlers for preschool by introducing them to the preschool curriculum. Toddlers enjoy a daily group time that focuses on reading stories and learning colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
For ages 2 ½ years to 5 years
Preschool Curriculum & Activities
Our mission is to provide a safe and loving Christ-centered environment for children to develop academic kindergarten readiness skills and tools for a lifelong love of learning.
Preschool classes are divided into learning centers in which children explore, learn, and play. Some of the subjects they study include bible story concepts, language and development, phonics, reading, writing, numbers, art, and dramatic play.
Kindergarten through 6th Grade
Schoolers Program
We offer non-school, school closure, and school break programs for school-age children in kindergarten through 6th grade.
Kindergarten through 6th Grade
Before & After School
Before & After School programs are available for school-age children in kindergarten through 6th grade providing a place to have breakfast before school and/or snacks after school. While at the center, kids will have free time to play with activities that interest them as well as participate in chapel and bible lessons.
Drop-in Care
We offer Drop-in care for enrolled children on non-scheduled days when space is available.
A welcoming space to grow
We want our children to learn, play, and grow in a safe, loving environment. We want our daycare to be one that children love attending and parents feel welcome.
All children participate in daily outdoor recreation and activities (weather permitting). Activities include: climbing, sliding, swinging, jumping, running, balls, racing, parachute, catch, bubbles, follow the leader, wagons, safe water toys, various games, and exploring nature.
